What matters most is on the inside.

We’ll tell you about what an ordinary client cannot always see—namely, the quality and environmental credentials of the materials used to make the product for your home.

We create more than furniture: we create custom interior pieces to our clients’ designs, using certified, environmentally responsible materials that fully reflect our clients’ ideas and philosophy.

When making bespoke cabinetry and upholstered furniture, we use softwood from FSC-certified suppliers.
It is important to us to support the global strategy of the Forest Stewardship Council: for every tree felled, the council plants two new ones.

For upholstered furniture, we choose top-grade FK plywood.

For bonding the wooden and plywood frame components, we use Kleiberit adhesive (Germany);
For bonding latex polyurethane foam to the frame, we use Sefox adhesive (Turkey),
as it is safe for human health and the environment.

We tailor every parameter of the future piece to each client individually.
That is why, for enhanced comfort, we use latex polyurethane foam in varying degrees of firmness and softness—HR3018, HR3535, HR5535, EL2504, HL2860, HS2012, HS3530 and others.

Bespoke cabinetry is made using board materials from European manufacturers—Egger, Saviola, Cleaf, Kaindl and others. Paints and coatings are sourced from leading global manufacturers—Adler, Sayerlack, LTL and others.

We use Austrian-made hardware for bespoke cabinetry—Blum—and German hardware from Hettich and Hafele. For upholstered furniture, we use Stalmot.

For upholstery, we use fabrics from European and Turkish manufacturers, with the highest abrasion-resistance ratings and special flame-retardant and hydrophobic treatments to provide our clients with reliability, comfort and safety.

For a home atmosphere that is as comfortable and safe as possible, it is important that the materials inside the furniture be natural and certified.

We could talk about sustainability endlessly; what matters most is having evidence to support our words. That is why MK Furniture Atelier provides each client with approved certificates of conformity upon request.
